It's time for another Monday Meet Up...Christmas-Style!
Since today is Christmas Eve,
and so many of us will be baking,
cooking, and sharing food....
I thought I'd share a brand-new
recipe that I just tweaked around
to make AMAZING.
You will thank me once you taste these suckers!

I present to you....

These began as Crack Muffins-
which are actually "Monkey Muffins"
But once you eat Monkey Muffins,
you can't stop... hence my dubbing
them Crack Muffins.
Anyways... one of my girlfriends turned me on to this super yummy recipe. And during Thanksgiving time last year, I substituted the banana for pumpkin. And. It. Was. Awesome. A few days ago, I decided to make some again... And before I popped those suckers in the oven, I thought a little sea salt would be a good idea. Boy was I ever right! Needless to say, there are no more in the house...after just a couple of days. Hope you all enjoy. Xxo

Recipe: Salted Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tBsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
15 oz. canned pumpkin
dash of salt
sea salt
chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350°
1. Mix: flour, cinnamon, soda, dash of salt.. set aside
2. In another bowl: Mix: sugars, butter- cream until smooth
3. Beat eggs, pumpkin, and vanilla into sugar/butter mixture
4. Combine dry ingredients and sugar/pumpkin mixture
5. Add in chocolate chips
6. Spoon into a mini muffin pan
(I use about a TBsp per muffin cup and spray the pan with Pam first)
7. Sprinkle muffins liberally with sea salt before baking
Bake 14-16 minutes

Enjoy!!!
And...check out these yummy

monday meet up: linky party!

by

It's time for another Monday Meet Up!
Our lovely guest was not able to publish today,
so I've invited her back in a few more weeks.
Instead, today you've got ME.

I wanted to thank you all for sticking with me
through out this entire moving process.
I can't believe how much time and energy
has gone into this whole thing.
It is, by far, the most difficult move
that we've made to date.

Thankfully, though, it is our last
out of state, overseas, out of country, etc.
move for a long, long time.
The East Coast is just going to
have to love us, 'cause we're
going no where!

So... If I owe you an email,
or am late in sending you something,
I am so very sorry. It's going to happen,
I promise.

I'd like to take a moment and introduce my December sponsors, officially.
Please love on these ladies! They're awesome.

And yall know my girl Tif!!
She has been rocking my side bar
as an XL sponsor for months.
I'm friends with her IRL
and I am so very grateful!

In other news...
hahaha

The Monday Meet Up
will publish as usual this next Monday.
However, since it's Christmas Eve that day,
you'll have me again. =)
I can't wait to see what kinds of Christmas-y posts you link up!

AND!!!!!
Don't forget about the 2012 Year in Review Link Up
happening on Monday, December 31st.

It will replace the regularly-scheduled Monday Meet Up.
Click here for more info and to grab the button.

And lastly...
Tomorrow, all across blogland,
bloggers will be observing a day of silence
for those lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School last week.

Grab the code for this button and add it in to your blog post.
(It links back to the Newton Youth & Family Services website,
not my blog.)
