this one time…i almost went to jail.

Well sort of... ish...
Ok...I should start from the beginning.
A couple weeks ago, one of my blogging BFF's {who would also be my IRL BFF if we could actually meet face to face, because, let's face it, we are cut from the same cloth} KELLY HOUTZ, contacted me about joining her IRLO Mashup Team. Honestly, I had no freakin' idea what she was talking about. But I said yes anyways.
Apparently we were going to be playing a game of tag {of sorts} against 9 other teams to see who could pass around these awesome Blank Canvas Cards the quickest/farthest/most creatively/etc.
IRLO means: In Real Life Online.
After I found out all about it, I was totally on board...and only partially because I'd already said yes. Ha! I officially became the third member of Team Playground.

So...back to my story.
I finally got the card in the mail from Sarah. And I was super excited to take photos with it.
But then I forgot to take it with me...for like, 4 days. To my defense...I had finals and graduation (YAYA!) and my Daddy came into town. Anyways...on Tuesday, Daddy and I were going out shopping and exploring a little bit more before he had to fly back to Texas. And I forgot the card again... except then I remembered and had to turn the truck off so I could unlock the door and run inside to grab the card and my camera.
I believe my exact words were: "OH YAH! OH CRAP!"
Isn't my Daddy foxy?! Sorry Ladies, he's taken. 😉
We had a great day...I bought some starfish, we drank some umbrella drinks, ate the best fish ever, visited the beach at Sand Island State Park.... where I tried to take a few IRLO pics.
And then I had the BEST idea... since I live Hawaii, why not take a pic that would be unique and not publicly accessible? Why not take a photo in front of some of the Navy ships on Pearl Harbor? Yaaah! Great idea!
Except... IT WAS NOT a great idea...apparently.
You see, as I was snapping self-portraits of myself holding the card with the dry docks of our nation's great Pacific fleet in the background, I started hearing my dad holler out the truck window "that guard over there is lookin' at you Darlin'"  (he is a good ol' Texas boy if there ever was one)
And I said "whaaaaat?"
And then a Honolulu PD copper pulled up next to me.
=/
So I went home... tweeted about my almost arrest...
...And ratted up my hair for a proper mug shot.
Because that's how Team Playground rolls, yo!
